Sex and the City (Amazon Prime and Apple TV)
It’s a classic and a bit cliché but there was no way we could left Sex and the City out of this list. Released in 1998, it tells the story of the columnist Carrie Bradshaw and her three New Yorker friends. Carrie’s fashionable and iconic outfits – like her ballerina-inspired tutu look – were undoubtedly the high point of the show, however, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha each had their unique and fabulous styles. The series became a modern pop culture classic exploring – besides their fashion choices – sex and relationships. Two films, six seasons – and many speculations – later, the series is returning with the spin-off And Just Like That. Its release date is still unknown, which means you have plenty of time to catch up with the original.
